HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A developing tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is presently located about 250 miles southeast of Mexico's California. Meteorologists are anticipating that Barbara will intensify over the next few days. The storm is moving northwestward at approximately 15 mph.
